short anthology of right-wing protest on East German streets

Every Monday evening in Germany ten thousands of people demonstrate. Mostly situated in Eastern Germany and not much noticed by the media and the rest of the people, the demonstrators seem to live in a self-affirming parallel world. Here it is logical that only the German Empire can bring peace and not Russia but NATO is waging war in Ukraine.

The following pictures are an attempt to classify this „movement“. They were taken during regular visits of demonstrations since last year.

In the upcoming weeks I will release a small print edition of the project, containing 45 pictures and a discussion between journalist Anne Hähnig, art historian Wolfgang Ullrich and author Lukas Rietzschel. To preorder, just write an email to hi@felixadler.com
