While studying classical horn, Markus Rindt always wanted to play in a big orchestra. When he later realized how difficult it is to get an engagement, he decided to found the Dresden Sinfoniker together with a friend. Since 1997, the orchestra has been performing contemporary music in ever-changing constellations. Often in unusual places, such as the high-rise buildings of a social housing area in Dresden.
